In case there was any doubt, my daughter will be a Sox fan for life if there's anything I can do about it. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not planning to disown her in the event she takes pity on some inferior team and decides to route for them. Nor am I going to force this decision on her. But I do think certain "external influences" can go a long way towards "guiding" someone to make the "right" choice. And since we don't live in Boston, the onus is on Brooke and I to create the proper environment. Long story short: Get ready for a flood of pictures involving Nia wearing all kinds of Sox paraphernalia over the next several months. Most of it is too big for her right now...in fact, I think the foam finger is bigger than she is. And now that I think about it, I may need to invest in some gear specifically steering her away from one specific team. Not naming any names but let's just say "jeter drinks wine coolers".
