Wow, two days gone by and not a single blog post. Shame on us! Funny how time can fly so fast even when you're up 20 hours a day. It probably has something to do with our ball of endless fun called Nia. We're wicked tired and loving every minute of it.

My dad gave me a new telephoto/macro lens for the Pentax DSLR last Christmas and I spent some time today testing out the macro mode. After coming home from a few hours of shopping (somebody's big day is coming up...) and changing the little grunt-meister, I found her basked in slivers of afternoon sunlight on the changing pad. Given this perfect opportunity, Nia played model for the next half hour while dad poked and prodded her. She didn't seem to mind too much. Click the photo above to see some of the better shots. Not a bad lens but I think the subject really makes the photos...
