Watching wake boarding makes little girl sleepy

Last weekend, the weather was beautiful and we were feeling adventurous (not to mention a little claustrophobic) so we planned out a fun day knowing full well that Nia would probably derail the plans at some point. Well, to our shock, we made it though the day and Nia was an angel! We started off with lunch at Ski Shores down on Lake Austin. Nia liked the wake boarding but I think the turtles really got her attention. Next, it was off to emma long park for a 3 mile hike over the river and through the woods (but to grandmother's house we did not go). Nia slept the entire hike strapped to daddy's sweaty chest (ewww). Finally, we really pressed our luck by topping it all off with happy hour at NXNW and a grocery stop. The screaming didn't start until the car ride home from HEB but we thought it was a pretty good day!
brooke's rule is sun's out guns out? i know you guys are in texas, but don't you need a permit for those weapons? chuck norris would be proud. she's gentle and motherly, but can kick ass on the side.
