Our little gal is growing up. We can't believe it's been two months since Nia came into our lives. We celebrated her 2 month birthday with a trip to the pediatrician's office for her first round of vaccinations (she will need more at 4 months, 6 months, 1 year and 18 months) and she handled the three shots like a champ! Nia didn't even flinch with the first shot, let out a small whimper with the second shot and only cried for 10 seconds with the last shot. Her mom cried more than she did. She is one brave little girl. And she's a big girl! Below are her stats:
Weight: 10 lbs. 12 oz. (75%)
Height: 21 1/2 inches (25%)
While she seems a bit vertically challenged at the moment, the pediatrician estimates that Nia will be around 5'8" when she's fully grown. Apparently they determine this by taking 5 inches off the father's height (6'2") and averaging it with the mother's (5'7"). A model in the making (well a brain surgeon/ artist/ model).
