We enjoyed a lovely two weeks of relaxation as we travelled to Vermont over the holidays. Peanut made the trip up to Mt. Philo once again, though the scenery was quite different all covered in white. We loved to see the snow and I was a bit sad that I was unable to play in it to the extent I would have liked to. Even though I told Heath I'd be careful, he didn't think skiing was a great idea given my "condition". Instead we made a pit stop in Woodstock, VT where we stayed at a great B&B and had a wonderful dinner. New Year's eve was spent in Beverly, MA and staying up until midnight proved quite a challenge. Things change when you're growing a person. And now we're getting close with around 11 weeks left until the due date - and we really can't wait. Once we returned to the lone star state we kicked our "get ready for baby" mentality into high gear purchasing the necessary furniture as well as such fun things as a stroller and swing. I'm growing daily and am finding that moving certain ways requires a bit more effort and planning. Peanut is moving around like a mad woman/man turning my belly into a virtual lava lamp. Life is good.
I'm so excited! I can't wait for Caden to have a playmate!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this picture. I had to look twice to realize that the baby belly was extending beyond the jacket!
