I had read online that women typically don't feel any movement until around 18 weeks in their first pregnancies. I may be the exception. Starting at week 15 I could swear I felt some little twitches here and there. But last night (at 17 weeks, 1 day) I felt something more. I was laying in bed watching Game 7 (insert melancholic sigh) when I felt some light twitches. I decided to put my hand on my belly to see if I could actually feel anything and all of a sudden there was a slight jab. It's as if Peanut felt my hand and said "Get off of me mom. Leave me be."
Needless to say, I think we've got a rambunctious little guy or gal in there. Peanut packs a punch. I can't wait until the 20 week ultrasound so we can see exactly what we're dealing with here!
