Today we went in for a 12 week ultrasound, and words can't even begin to describe how utterly amazing it was. Peanut has grown so much over the past month, we're now beginning to understand all the more what it means when people say "they grow up so fast".
She was a squirmy little thing flipping over and moving her arms and legs. She almost appeared to be doing the bicycle or some kind of reverse sit-up - it's never too early to work on those abs!
At 12 weeks, 2 days she's measuring in at roughly 7cm which is just under 3 inches. From what I've read, the average fetal length at 12 weeks is 5.4cm so it seems she's quite tall like her dad. Some have told me they wouldn't be surprised if she was on the "lanky" side considering her parents. I would have to agree.
Fingers crossed she inherits her mother's propensity for impromptu demonstrations of the running man and the worm...but with more coordination.
